Encore casino’s posh nightclub, XS delivers an extra-large dose of glamour. After you’ve boogied on the DJ-driven dance floor, slip outside and cool off with cocktails in a poolside cabana. Strict dress code.

With rooftop pool parties in summer and electronica DJs pumping up svelte crowds after dark, Cosmopolitan’s nightclub ranks among the Strip’s best. Peer out at the Strip’s neon lights through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Dress to impress.

Cirque du Soleil
Forget about cheesy topless showgirls, lame magicians and hokey variety shows. On the Strip’s stages, the most spectacular shows are performed by this French Canadian post-modern circus troupe. The aquatic adventure O and whimsical Mystère are the originals, but the musicals The Beatles LOVE and Michael Jackson ONE and the martial arts-inspired martial arts-inspired Kàare hotter tickets these days. Book in advance.

Bawdy, comically twisted and more imaginative than any other variety show on the Strip, Absinthe is an adults-only spectacle of burlesque, magic and more. Look for the striped tent set up in the Roman Plaza outside Caesars Palace casino resort. Tickets sell out fast.

Beneath the High Roller wheel along the LINQ pedestrian promenade, this hip haven is part bowling alley, part comfort-food kitchen, and part live-music hall for cool indie bands. Buy show tickets in advance. Over-21s only after 8pm.

Feeling nostalgic for the Vegas of yesteryear? Drop by the rainbow neon-lit Peppermill casino and coffee shop for tacky tropical drinks, blue-velvet couches, flickering faux fireplaces, and cocktail waitresses in floor-length black gowns. The signature Scorpion is a knockout punch.
